Professional development is a primary mission of the WCHRA.  We offer terrific Monthly Member Programs on timely issues for HR professionals and anyone interested in HR. 

Developing professionally also includes networking to build contacts and develop personal resources.  By attending monthly meetings and volunteering for a board position or committee, we make great professional and personal contacts and develop stronger relationships with those we know.

Another important member benefit WCHRA offers is support in obtaining your Professional Human Resources (PHR) and Senior Professional Human Resources (SPHR)certification from SHRM and the Human Resources Certification Institute, HRCI.  WCHRA offers certification study groups and provides study materials to help defray some of the costs.  There's more information under Certification.
