August Monthly Member Program
Program Info:
Creating an Engaged Workforce
In this interactive workshop, HR professionals and operational managers will learn how to best work together to achieve that elusive "employee engagement" that puts the most successful organizations on top. According to recent Gallup research, "engaged employees are more productive, profitable, safer, create stronger customer relationships, and stay longer with their company than less engaged employees....workplace engagement is also a powerful factor in catalyzing "outside-the-box" thinking to improve management and business processes as well as customer service."
Engagement is not about people "liking" their jobs or about their being happy -- although those aren't bad things to have in a work environment! Engagement is about the business results when people work hard day after day. Depending on which survey you read, disengagement impacts 19% - 30% of an organization's workforce. Imagine what could happen in your workplace if those individuals moved out of the ranks of the disengaged and began contributing at their highest level.
Come to the August WCHRA meeting and learn how to make engagement work for you.
This program has been pre-approved for 1 HRCI general recertification credit.*
