WCHRA is a non-profit organization serving Western Slope human resource professionals and anyone with an interest in human resources. WCHRA is an affiliate of the Colorado Society for Human Resource Management (COSHRM) and the international Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM).
WCHRA seeks to Serve the Professional, Advance the Profession.
Mission
To provide a functional network for human resource professionals and to support individuals whose role within their organizations include human resource related tasks. The association accomplishes this mission by:
- Producing quality educational and learning experiences;
- Hosting regular meetings each month to facilitate sharing of ideas, trends, and expertise;
- Acting as a community resource for new and established businesses and organizations;
- Providing a forum to explore concerns related to the local employment arena.

COSHRM coordinates the efforts of the six Colorado SHRM chapters in advancing the human resource profession.
Who are the Members?
Colorado's six SHRM chapters are located in Ft Collins, (NCHRA), Colorado Springs (CSSHRM), Denver area (CHRA), Boulder (BAHRA), Glenwood area (HCHRA) and Grand Junction area (WCHRA). Members of those six chapters AND Colorado SHRM at-large members (SHRM members living in Colorado who are not members of local chapters) are all members of COSHRM by default, i.e., you don't have to fill out an application to join COSHRM.
